The God ProblemOK, lets get honest to ourselves. Dou you really think that, assumed that there is a God, that He is interested in YOU? That is a question which MUST be asked if you will find the true ANSWER. Imagine, there are millions and millions of planets, and maybe thousands of them contain (intelligent?) life, on this planet only there are 6 billion, and God is interested in YOU? C'mon. Get real. Still many people do believe that. Why? There is some very interesting literature on that, read for example Donald Walsch. It says, like many world-religions, that God is inside YOU. So when all this people say that, there is a slight chance that they are right. So, Brothers and Sisters, YOU have to make your own luck, And according to the scriptures of the world that is exactly the thing you have to do in this world to gain the most in the afterlife. So lets get started! I didnt say there is no God. There is, but not in the way most people like to think. I just said that God is not interested in You directly, as a person. He is more, i think, interested in the result of your entire life, and not in the details of earthly materialistic things, like some people like to pray for. In this point of view, it can be very interesting to read Carlos Castaneda, this is (but only if you read ALL 8 of his books) a good model of thinking. It is about the God of the mexican shaman, the Eagle, this is a 'recycling machine' with no sign of compassion, which purely converts the energy you gained during your life, in order to feed itselves. There is, however, a way to escape this eternal cycle of being the food for the eagle, by what the hindus will call 'meditation' So what remains is the following two things: 1,) the need to build up as many energy you can during life, in order to 'survive' the nature of ALL, the Eagle, and 2.)the conclusion that also on higher planes of existence (after death) there is a system to follow. The system of nature, which is much more than we can see in this life. God is nature and nature is God, only in more dimensions, and more vast than we will ever know.. |
