Monday had gone by so quickly. Tuesday morning, I felt lazy for some reason. It was 7:39, Dylan was all dressed up and was cleaning his glasses but there I was, turning in bed.

To be honest, it was Dylan who woke me up yesterday and that was because we had to attend the same lecture, but today we would be having different classes for our different courses in different lecture halls, so he didn bother waking me up.

Thirty minutes later after he left, I had to get myself out of bed. I took my time, there was no hurry, my lecture today was scheduled for 9am, so I had no worries of been late whatsoever.

I stood outside my lodge waiting for a taxi to pass by, my lecture hall wasn far from here but I didn want to walk all the way there. I saw a car slowly approach where I stood from afar. It didn look like the school taxi which should be blue and white, but it did look familiar.

Shit!! It was Ann. I quickly turned around towards my lecture hall and started by foot. What was she doing here?! Yesterday when I saw her, there was a pretty good explanation; it was a general course! but today she was at my lodge, my **ing lodge!

How did she know, I remember I didn tell he what lodge I stayed in, our night together. I turned my neck backwards a little to see what was happening behind me. She had parked her car and was asking a guy something. Was she asking about me? Oh no!

The guy pointed upwards towards the part where Mine and Dylans room was. Fuck! She nodded and started to head inside. I sighed. This was **ed up, the whole situation. why was she looking for me? Unless…..

A taxi stopped to pick someone else standing around and I also got in. After I had closed the door to the taxi, I heard the driver ask:

”Where? ”

I wasn sure if the question was directed at me or the other person seated next to me but if it was to me, I sincerely didn know where I wanted to go right now.

I had this thought in my head. I wasn sure I wanted to go to class even. I needed to talk to someone, maybe Dylan. He was the only person I could talk to, I didn have any other friend here except him.

Im not generally very extroverted and social, but when it came to making friends, I was real good at it, but I haven clicked with anyone yet , just Dylan.

Dylan; I couldn call him, he would be in class right now, I didn wanna disturb him, I could wait. Maybe I should go for my lecture as planned initially, I could pass time just sitting there in class, because I knew I wouldn be fully attentive. I could record whatever is taught today on my phone and listen to it later.

I paid the driver when I got off at my destination. When I walked in, lecture hadn begun yet, just students trooping in every now and then. We weren much here. I looked around from where I sat, I didn know anyone around. The Hall wasn as big as the one yesterday.

”Can I get your attention please?! ” Someone said in a louder voice. It was our lecturer, she didn look as stern as the math professor. She dressed in a casual way, just a long sleeved nude shirt and grey pants to blend. Her hair was in a neat bun, she had little makeup on and looked so professional.

Everyone had now given her the attention she requested. She smiled before she began.

”I am Ms. Kendrick, and this is this class?; Art history. Now most of you must have thought, why do we need art history, we do need it, we as architects need it. In this class, I Will be as clear as I can be with my words, and I hope you would offer your attention for your own good, welcome. ” She said and brought out her tablet to begin. Maybe I should listen through her class, like she said it would be for my own good.

Done with this lecture, I sat behind to wait for others to leave, I didn want to have to bubble with the others just to leave. I got a call, it was Dylan.

”Where are you? ” I heard from his end when I picked the call.

”Why? ” I asked but didn get a reply, so I assumed he took it to be a rhetorical question. ”Im in class? ”

”And you are taking a phone call? Are you at the back of the hall? ”

”No no, my lecture is over, Im just sitting here, waiting for others to leave. ”

”Well Im outside your department,I was waiting for you, so we could try out this burger, someone gave me a flyer this morning. ”

”Oh. ” I stood from where I sat, stretching involuntarily, I headed for the door. Ill be out real soon. ”

”Mmhmmn. ” Dylan moaned when he took a bite out of the burger. ”Try them, they
e really good! ” He persuaded but I just couldn ; I still had that thought on my mind all day.

”She came to our lodge today. ” I blurted out assuming he would know who the she was.

Dylan stopped chewing for a second, then he continued till he was done with his mouthful, drank some water, looked at me and suddenly laughed loudly.

Everyone around turned to look at us while he laughed, I have never been so confused around him. He soon stopped laughing.

”Sorry about that. ” He said now putting on a serious face.

”Why the hell did you laugh like that? ” I had to know, just Incase he was becoming crazy from too much math.

”It was funny. ”

”Then why didn you laugh immediately after I said what I said, you took like a whole minute before laughing. ”

”I couldn laugh with food in my mouth, Jerry, thats why. ”

”You are so weird. If we weren roommates, Im quite sure I would never speak to you, really. ”

”I won talk to you either, what do you think you are? a celebrity? ” He smiled mockingly. ” She probably came to see someone else who stays at our lodge, relax. ”

”How possible is that?, I mean she was asking this dude where we stayed and….. ”

”Did you hear her? ” He interrupted.

”Well…no but… ”

”She pointed to our side of the lodge and you assumed things? ” He cut me off again.

”How do you know that? ”

”I forgot my textbook and came back to get it and I saw everything happen. ”

”Oh. Why didn I see you? ”

”Cos you were too busy admiring her. ”
