The little girl looked 12 years old wearing a dull Grey cloth. The cloth looked dirty as if it hadn been washed for a long time. It was patched in some places while in some, there were still small holes where her skin was visible.

She had blue marks on her body indicating she had been beaten many times. Her hair wasn properly taken care of. With messy hair, and ragged cloth, the girls life looked so sad.

Despite being unconscious, she held a small pouch on her hand firmly, making it clear it was important to her.

Leon felt sad just by looking at her. He couldn imagine what life this girl lived. Maybe because of that, he couldn leave her alone and stayed by her side.

She looked just like my little sister. Wonder what she is doing right now? Maybe she is depressed over my death. Well, I hope she is living happily, and hope one day I could meet with her again. He gently patted the girls head.

The girl squirmed and gently raised her body. She slowly opened her eyes. Again, she saw a skeleton looking at her, but this time she wasn shocked to the point of falling unconscious.

”Thank you… ” She stopped. ”Saving me. ” She spoke slowly and put pressure on the words. So, Leon could hear every word clearly.

Its ok. He nodded his head. Leon only got thanks and saving but he could understand what she was trying to say.

”So… I am going. ” She said while making a hand sign. The word and sign was understood instantly.

And as she stood Leon grabbed her hand. Leon didn want to let go of her as she was the first friendly human he encountered… Forgetting the previous incident.

”What?! ” The girl raised her voice in shock as the sudden action of Leon startled her. Leon pointed at himself and made a sign of walking then pointed at the girl.

”You… want to… walk with me? ”

Leon nodded.

”Is it oK?… ” The girl wasn sure if bringing Leon along with her is suitable as she only met Leon and didn know his intention.

Leon didn do anything and waited for the girl. The girl after pondering for a moment nodded at Leon.

So, Leon followed the girl.

The journey was quiet. Since Leon couldn understand this world language clearly, and didn have any ability to speak, he couldn chat with the girl.

On the other hand, the girl was scared of Leon, well, less than the previous time. And she didn have anything to talk about, and knowing Leon won understand it, she thought staying quiet was the right thing to do.

The atmosphere around them was quite awkward.

After a short walk, they came across a pond. A crystal clean water emitting a faint glow.

”Water! ” This girl exclaimed and rushed there with a bright smile. Leon followed the girl.

The girl drank the water without hesitation. Leon gazed at the water and was surprised by the clarity of the water. He could see the ground clearly and even some plants and fish underwater.

While Leon was examining the water, the girl finished drinking and washed her face.

The some dirt left on her face washes away and her soft white face becomes visible.

She looked at Leon and poked at his bones. Leon who felt that turned his head.

He tried his head while staring at the girl.

”I want to take a bath. ” She said while pointing at herself and water and water pouring on her head.

Oh! Leon nodded, understanding her intention. But I continued to stay there.

The girl waited a bit but seeing no action of Leon leaving, the girl again poked Leon with a frowning and pouting face.

What? Leon titled his head and poked at her cheeks. They were squeezy and soft. He then pinched her.

”Can you leave? ” She pointed at Leon and at the woods.

Why? Leon gazed at her and tilted his head showing his confusion.

Understanding Leon, the girl sighed. ”I need to take off my clothes. So could you give me… privacy? ” She pointed at herself and made a sign of taking off her clothes and then pointed at Leon.

… Leon understood her. He shook his head and walked at the girl. He then sat near the pond without any intention of leaving.

The girls face twitched. A frown appeared on her face with clear intention to hit the skeleton. ”Pervert! ” She yelled at him and walked in the woods.

I am not one. He smiled and looked at the back of the girl.

She entered the woods and found big leaves that fell from the trees.

She undressed the clothes and put them on her head. She then took the leaves and wrapped them around her body like a towel.

After that, she again walked to the point where Leon was sitting and dipping his legs in the water.

Not caring about him, she hung her clothes on a branch of a tree and entered the pond.

The water wasn hot nor too cold. The temperature was good.

The girl bathes facing her back at Leon. Leon wasn interested in a childs body so he left the pond soon.
