“Ok, how about this.” Wei Jing tried suggesting before the two could start fighting, “We’ll study together first, and after we’re done studying, we’ll play video games.
How’s that sound? But we can’t do today, I need to talk to my big brother first.
Let’s do it tomorrow!”

“Play video games? Look at this fatty’s grades – Wei Jing, do you want to become like him?” Xu Jiahui said.

Young elementary school students especially cared about their grades.
The power in the class could be subtly divided into three “factions” – the straight A students, the slackers with poor grades, and the in-between students.

Students whose grades were in the mid to lower range year round, like the chubby kid, became the object of the straight A’s students’ disdain.
The little fatty gripped his fists, let out a “hmph”, then said, “So what if my grades aren’t good? All those books fried your brain, you bookworm, nerd.“

“What did you say? Stupid idiot….”

“Nerd nerd nerd….”

Wei Jing: =-=

The setting sun dyed the floating clouds a beautiful crimson color, breathing life into the gray sky.
Wei Jing sat in the back of the car, his arms hugging a little black backpack.
He couldn’t help sighing to himself – today really was a hard day!

The elementary school classes were exceedingly boring, and it just so happened he couldn’t leave.

The two immature grade schoolers were ready to fight with just the wrong word, and Wei Jing was stuck right in the middle of their fighting.
Unwillingly, he had to play the role of “lubricant” to the friction between them.
But thankfully it got better later and the two were able to communicate peacefully.
They even promised to go to the chubby kid’s house tomorrow to study and play video games.

Wei Min, sitting in the front seat, glanced at the troubled expression the child had on his face.
He grinned slightly, then asked in a sweet voice, “What’s wrong, second brother? Did anything wrong happen at school?”

“No!” Wei Jing froze for a second before responding.

“Second brother, you were absent from school for a month, today must have been troublesome for you.
Even I had a bit of trouble keeping up today,” Wei Min said to himself, and even made a silly face.
“The classes here move faster than at my previous school.
How about we hire a tutor together to teach us? Or second brother, you could teach me too!”

Sitting back on the black leather seat, the dark-haired child pursed his lips, a slight frown between his brows, and said, “No need, my grades are good.” One could even say they were too good.

“Really? Then brother, please tutor me today.” Wei Min’s little cheeks flushed red.
He smiled shyly, and said, “Thank you, second brother.”

Did he ever agree to this? Wei Jing’s face was dumbfounded.
He really was no stranger to accosting others! The child gave it a thought and quickly understood what Wei Min was trying to do.
People are social animals – the excluded Wei Min wanted to find a friend to be on his side in the old family house.

But the problem was….
Wei Jing didn’t want to be this friend!

Wei Min was in the opposing camp from his dear eldest brother, and Wei Jing, from now until forever, would always choose Wei Zhe’s side.

Wei Zhe was in the middle school, which was slightly further from the entrance of the campus than the elementary school.
And so when he got in the car, he was met with this scene: his cute younger brother being questioned this way and that by a despicable person.
Even though his face clearly showed he was unwilling, he still answered all the questions out of politeness.

“Drive.” As soon as the young man opened his mouth, Wei Min became quiet as a chicken.

Even though he just sat there, it was impossible to ignore him.
His stern aura was as cold as ice, his eyes filled with a maturity and wisdom beyond his age.
Daunting as he was, you couldn’t help but develop a deep admiration for him.

Like right now, Wei Jing was staring at his brother all starry-eyed, wow wow wow!! His older brother was so cool and handsome! He definitely had the look of a domineering president.

Wei Zhe thoroughly enjoyed the gaze on himself.
He slid his palm along the smooth  leather seat and squeezed the child’s small hand with his own, much bigger, hands.

Wei Zhe tickled the smaller palm with his index finger, words of blame coming out of his house but his eyes filled with a look of pamper.
“Look at you, look how thin you are? I’m going to let the kitchen make you bone broth once we get home?”

Wei Jing covered his hand with his free hand but couldn’t help letting a few laughs escape.
“Stop, it tickles it tickles… tickles! Ha… ha ha….”

“That’s all you can take?” Wei Zhe cocked his eyebrows and smirked slightly, then suddenly pinched the child’s soft waist, making him laugh out loud before withdrawing his longing hand.
“You’re so sensitive.”

Only when the other person is Wei Jing would he do such a childish thing.

Feeling lonely and excluded, a hint of jealousy and malcontent flashed through Wei Min’s eyes.
Damn it, that spot, he wanted it too.
