”Are you saying you want to marry my sister? Hua Hua? ” Qiao Ning Xi stood up and pointed at Qiao Hua. Grandpa Qiaos face darkened and immediately thought that Qiao Hua must have did something. The adult felt that they need to stop this before it gets worse.

” Ning Xi, thats not what Gui Han means. Of course, Gui Han will marry you. Isn the reason we are here because you got discharge yesterday? ” Mrs. Gui tried to calm Ning Xi down. She knew that her son started to pay interest at Qiao Hua and to tell you the truth she also likes Qiao Hua. Not only is she pretty and smart, shes also filial. Trying to pleased her everytime she went to the Gui Manor.

Qiao Ning Xi stopped for a second then started to cry again. ”Then why? Instead of worrying about me, he keeps on staring at Qiao Hua full of worry. Im the one whos sick not Qiao Hua! ” She tried to cry more. Qiao Ning Xi asked herself if this tantrums of hers is enough to make Grandpa Gui and Grandma Gui to dislike her.

”Ning Xi, calm down, ok? ” Grandma Qiao went to Ning Xi and hugged her. Qiao Ning Xi hugged her back. ”But grandma Qiao Hua stole brother Han from me! ”

Qiao Hua froze then defended immediately. ”Sister, I never did that. Cuz I know sister likes Brother Han the most. ” She said but Qiao Ning Xi ignore her and complained at grandma Qiao.

”Grandma, how will you feel if somebody took grandpa away from you? because It hurts. My heart hurt so bad. ” She continued crying. Grandma Qiao felt that its reasonable. She looked at Qiao Hua disappointedly. She can already steal her own sisters fiance at a young age, no ones what she can not do in the future. She decided that she will keep an eye on Qiao Hua starting today.

”Shush. Its okay. You better go to your room first. Don worry Gui Han is your man and no one will take him from you, okay? ” Grandma Qiao patted Qiao Ning Xis hair calming her down. Grandma Qiao looked at her full of concern. Grandma Qiao realized that this was the first time Qiao Ning Xi actually act like a child. The maid who supervise them saw that when Qiao Ning Xis upset she usually will hide and cry, not wanting others to know.

”Okay. ”

Qiao Hua was upset seeing that the old woman doted on Qiao Ning Xi. She saw Qiao Ning Xi walking up stairs, she then stood up and looked at Mrs. Qiao with worry. ”Mom. Can I talk with Qiao Ning Xi? I don want her to misunderstand me and Brother Han and she needs someone to cry on. ”

Hearing her, Grandma Qiao and Grandpa Qiao wanted to refuse her because they are afraid she might say or do something to Qiao Ning Xi. Gui Han also doesn want her to go to Qiao Ning Xi because hes scared that Qiao Ning Xi will bully her and he wants to stay with her longer. But Mrs. Qiao agreed and Qiao Hua followed Qiao Ning Xi.

The adults just let it go then talked about business while Gui Han started playing games.

5 minutes later, they heard a loud noise like something fell down and also screams.

”AHHHH! ”

”THUD! ”

”ARGH! ”

They froze for a second then immediately ran towards where the loud noise came from. When they went there, they saw Qiao Hua laying on the ground while her head is bleeding. While Qiao Ning Xi was on the top of the stairs, you can see in her face that she was shocked and terrified. When gain her conscious she immediately ran down the stair and shouted. ”Hua Hua! What happened? Are you alright? ”

Hearing her shout everybody also went to Qiao Hua worriedly. ”Are you okay Hua Hua? What happened? ” Mrs. Qiao kneeled on the floor and asked Qiao Hua while helping her to stand up.

Qiao Hua smiled but her smile was bitter. ”Im fine, mom. Don blame sister. ” She said sounding like she was wronged.

After that, the people looked at Qiao Ning Xi weirdly or suspiciously. When they saw Qiao Ning Xi, she also looked at them looking like she was wronged.

”Ning Xi! You are too much. Qiao Hua was so nice to you and you dare to push her! She is your sister, how could you do such thing? You are so vicious! ” Gui Han burst and started to curse Qiao Ning Xi.

Gui Han anger and hatred toward Qiao Ning Xi increased after seeing Qiao Huas state. He promised her that he will protect her but he wasn able to. He was filled with regret and guilt for not protecting her. He instantly connect Qiao Huas accident to Qiao Ning Xi in short he thinks Qiao Ning Xi pushed Qiao Hua off the stairs.

”What? How could I do such thing?! Hua Hua is my sister. We were together since we were an infants. Do you really think I will push her?! ” Qiao Ning Xi yelled at him. She sounds like she was wronged by Gui Han.

When Gui Han heard her, he glared at her and looked after Qiao Hua. ”Brother Han, don blame my sister. My sister was just emotional for a while and I know she didn mean it. We are sisters afterall. ” Qiao Hua said walking toward the living room and everybody followed her including Qiao Ning Xi.

When everybody sat on the sofa, everybody was looking at her weirdly. Mrs. Qiao was showing anger in her eyes, while others show disappointment except for Grandpa Qiao who found this situation suspicious. Its either Qiao Ning Xi who pushed Qiao Hua or Qiao Hua who accused Qiao Ning Xi wanting to embarrass her.

Qiao Ning Xi kneeled and said. ”Mom, Grandpa, Grandma I didn push Qiao Hua. I swear, I was surprised when I felt someone touching my back then I heard Qiao Hua fell. Qiao Hua, what do you mean by I didn mean it? I never touched you. If you don believe me we can see if your jacket has my fingerprint. ” She looked at Qiao Hua asking for an explanation.

When Qiao Hua heard her she opened her mouth then closed, acting pitiful. ”Haven you had enough? You pushed her because you were jealous of her. ” Gui Han pointed his finger towards Qiao Ning Xi.

”Enough! ”

Gui Han, Qiao Hua and Qiao Ning Xi wanted to argue but closed their mouths when they heard Grandpa Qiaos voice. The Gui Family also looked at him.

”Qiao Hua take your jacket off and give it to Butler Sam. Qiao Ning Xi you
e grounded for 2 weeks stay in your room unless you
e going to school. Lastly, Gui Han lessen your visits here in the Qiao Manor and Qiao Hua lessen your visit to the Gui Manor too. Boy, remember Qiao Ning Xi is your fiance. ” Grandpa Qiao said. Gui Han wanted to oppose him but saw hia grandpa Gui glaring at him. Grandpa Qiao stood up then walked toward the stairs but before that he patted Qiao Ning Xis head then he completely left.

”Im sorry for letting you see such an accident. Im embarrassed, Next let me invite you again. Butler Sam see the guest off. ” Grandma Qiao stood up and also left.

The Gui family was sent off by Butler Sam, today they were greatly disappointed by Qiao Ning Xi and felt pity for Qiao Hua. Thay believed that Qiao Ning Xi pushed Qiao Hua because of jealous, because Gui Han like Qiao Hua and not Qiao Ning Xi. Qiao Ning Xi acted spoiled and childish today while Qiao Hua acted mature and kind.

Before, they disagree with Gui Han liking Qiao Hua since she was titled as young miss rather than eldest miss. But now they think Qiao Hua would achieve something more and higher than Qiao Ning Xi so they prefer Qiao Hua now.

After they left. ”Hua Hua lets go to the doctor, okay? ” Mrs. Qiao said then she passed by Qiao Ning Xi while glaring at her. Mrs. Qiao and Qiao Hua left.

The only one left in the living room was Qiao Ning Xi. Qiao Ning Xi also stood up and went to her room. The moment she went inside her room she finally felt relieved. She finally was able to lower her guard. She couldn believe how many times she force herself to cry today.

She lay down the bed and smiled remembering Qiao Hua falling off the stairs.

Qiao Hua, You lied. No one might have seen what happened earlier but did you really think there were no hidden camera around there.
