Since my skill-usable times are limited, I absolutely can’t miss any.

I aimed and fired a wind blade at the giant ogre on the leftmost side, but it was easily evaded by jumping.
It is not surprising since the enemy is the higher species of ogres.

Aiming at the airborne giant ogre, I shot a lighting bolt.
Although the lightning bolt hit the target and was able to inflict some damage, it wasn’t to the extent of completely immobilizing the enemy.
Since there is also another giant ogre targeting me and heading toward me, I don’t have time to be indecisive.

“One more shot! [Lightning]”

I activated my third [Lightning] as a follow-up attack.
At the same time, I also fired [Ice Javelin] at another giant ogre and disturbed its movement.
Having been hit by two shots of [Lightning], it seemed that the first ogre had taken significant damage.
So, it should be okay to leave it alone for a while.
The problem is another one.
My [Lightning] skill has already been used up, and of the remaining skills, only two shots of [Vortex Fire] could be believed to be effective.

All shots definitely need to hit the target.
While retreating backward, I fired [Wind Cutter ] to restrain the giant ogre trying to close the distance.
Probably because I made up my mind, I don’t feel so scared although such large-sized ogres are in front of me.
Unless I defeat these guys, Aoi will be in danger.
That must not happen at any cost.
When I thought like that, my determination outmatched my fear, and I found myself more calm than usual.

I activated my usable skills in series by targeting the giant ogre.
Although my skills hit the target due to speed, that wasn’t enough to catch it completely. (T/N: sounds a bit unclear in the raw.)

Still, I’d like to use my sure-fire skill after restraining its movement.
When I targeted the legs and fired [Wind Cutter] in rapid succession, the enemy jumped to avoid the attacks as I intended.
So, I set my aim and released [Vortex Fire].
The flame thunder flew out and directly hit the airborne giant ogre, burning the target.

“Gaaaaarrrrrrr!”

Did that finish it?
Ah…..
Not good……
At the edge of my field of vision, I saw another giant ogre closing on me, which should have been immobilized from the [Lightning] skills’ damages.

“Kuh! [Vortex Fire]”

Maybe due to the extreme focus, I felt all movements and surrounding scenery slowing down.
I activated my skill right away and intercepted the enemy.
The activated skill hit the approaching monster from a close distance.
The giant ogre burst into flames with a gaping hole in its body and was successfully exterminated.
Although I somehow managed to get rid of one, I also used up [Vortex Fire].
I took a look at Aoi’s side, but she is still engaged in battle, and it seems that I can’t expect her support any time soon.
Unfortunately, it looks like I have to do something about the remaining giant ogre in front of me.

Because it was directly hit by [Vortex Fire], there is no doubt that it has taken considerable damage.
So, the wind blade easily hit the target, but the wound was shallow.
