The Queen Of Atlantis

I posted the post a week ago. Things have been weird ever since.

My mom was watching the news as I heard something strange.

Reporter: ”….ere seems to be reports of a lost city to have resurfaced in the area, according to conspiracy theories, Atlantis, the city that was supposedly submerged under water.. ”

What? A city that had drowned is back? Does this even make sense?

I thought the report was ridiculous as I walked closer to the TV.

Reporter: ”…reports show proof that the lost city, popularly known as Atlantis in the conspiracy theory community, has in fact, resurfaced. There had been a huge online debate about the surfacing of this city last week ever since the TikTok by @xxxx was posted about finding something mysterious in the middle of the ocean through Hoogle Earth. Our reporters didn waste any time and went onto investigate the area and has given photo proof to us about the appearance of the city. As shown in the photo, there is a really huge structure, almost like a medieval time mansion, made of stone in the centre.

When our reporters tried to capture more footage of the existence of this place, the cameras stopped working due to some kind of force. However, according to their testimonies, there were lives on that island. The body anatomy didn match to those of modern human, as they were gigantic and buff.

To fill us in on to the theories of why this supposed city has resurfaced, we invited Dr. Colin Argus, a well-known conspiracy theorist who has been theorising for over 40 years. ”

The camera shifted towards Dr. Colin.

Dr. Colin: ”It is believed in the conspiracy community that The Queen has been born, thus the surfacing of such a place.

It is believed, a queen is born every millennium or so to save humanity from destruction. Now, this theory makes sense looking at the state of our world right now. World war 3 is being teased right in front of our faces, our planet is dying out because of the enormous amount of pollution, the crime rate has gone crazy high and people don want to cooperate. ”

Reporter: ”So, Dr.Argus, what do you believe is going to happen because of the resurfacing of this supposed lost city? ”

Dr. Colin was silent for a moment as he slowly replied:

”….eternal doom. ”

What?

My mom turned off the tv after hearing that.

Mother: These conspiracy theories are just getting ridiculous! Eternal doom? Are you kidding me?

My mom caught me off guard as she exclaimed in anger.

My mom looked at me for a second.

Mother: *sigh* sorry hun.

I nodded my head in response and went to my bedroom.

Eternal doom?

”What higness? How can someone think of such a dumb prank? ” I thought to myself as I opened the door.

I was about to close the door as that guy spoke again.

???: Your highness! Its me! Your highness right hand man, Ioannis!

Myra: …youve got the wrong person.

Ioannis: No your highness! Rose gold hair and eyes, its definitely you your highness! Queen Arithea!

I squeald.

Ioannis realized I was probably too confused as he added.

Ioannis: Please let us explain. We can explain why your highnesss eyes and hair are that color too.

I hesitated a little as I let Iaonnis and 2 people behind him into our home.

They entered my home and were kind of weary to sit down.

Myra: Sit down yaall.

They looked at each and sat down after I was done grabbing a chair and sitting.

Myra: I want you to explain everything. Why is my hair and eyes like this? How did you find me? Why do you keep referring to me as your highness? How do you know these information? Why do you know these information? No wait, first tell me, who are you all!?

They seemed a little surprised by my bombarding of questions.

The 2 others introduced themselves. Lycus and Lylin. Apperantly they are mages that I knew in my ”last life ”.

They kept babbling about things that were not believable at all. As much as I love anime of second life or reborning into a magical world, it just doesn make sense to me.

My life is not an anime.

Myra: So… According to you three, this is my supposed 4th life, I contain mana in me thus such vibrant hair and eye color, and I am cursed so I can remember anything about what had happened?

I squeald out the last sentence in confusion.

All of them nodded like obedient puppies.

Ioannis: …It seems your highness still doesn believe us.

Myra: Yeah, no shit.

Ioannis sighed as he looked at Lycus, is that his name? The green haired boy.

Lycus: Your highness, as it seems just telling your highness your highness past life experiences is not enough to convince your highness, please allow me to give logic to our argument.

I stared back in confusion at the formal speech and then realized since I am their supposed queen they are probably just trying to save their necks.

Myra: Sure.

Lycus looked down for a bit which sent chills. His eyes started glowing a little.

”…This is creepy. ” I nervously thought to myself.

Lycus: ”Does your highness really believe that there was only one time where an asteroid absolutely wiped out almost all life on earth?

Or how after millions of years of existence of humans only the last few centuries is where humans invented revolutionary objects?

Or how every single pyramid to exist is precisely in a geometrical order before geometry was even invented? ”

As he asked me those questions, I saw photos in my head kinda like slideshows.

I couldn help but think to myself after he asked me those absurd questions that leave scholars with no answer.

Should I.. believe these complete strangers?
